Un-dusted my camera!
Date: May 12, 2022Location: Saipan, CNMICaption: The last time I used my camera was in late 2018 or early 2019. It has been years, but I decided to bring a telephoto lens and a macro lens to fieldwork. I am so glad I did. I forgot how much I loved taking photos. It has been so long, but I'm excited to get back at it again. I honestly have forgotten how f-stops and iso's and all of it work, but maybe with practice I can figure it out again. My favorite bird is definitely the sihek or Mariana Kingfisher. It's beautiful royal blue feathers is just simply captivating + they're really easy to take photos of! It's insane to experience Saipan and observe all the beautiful birds that Guam once had. The beautiful bird songs in the forest makes the silent forests on Guam feel even more tragic.Feb. 28, 2019
